Moss & Maple was created from a love of slow childhood, meaningful connection, and the quiet wonder found in both stories and the natural world.
As a homeschooling mother of seven, I have spent years watching the way children learn best — through curiosity, imagination, movement, and time spent outdoors. Nature walks, read-alouds on the couch, woodland discoveries tucked into pockets, and small handmade companions carried in little hands have shaped the heart behind everything I create.
From storybook and plush companion sets to woodland banners, felt toys, and nature identification sets, each piece is designed to invite children into gentle, hands-on experiences that encourage both imagination and real-world discovery. When children can hold a story, explore outdoors, identify the leaves and creatures around them, and engage in meaningful play, learning becomes natural and deeply rooted.
I believe there is great value in parents slowing down enough to read aloud, explore together, and remain engaged in the everyday moments of childhood — while also leaving space for children to wander, notice, imagine, and discover the world for themselves.
Moss & Maple is rooted in the belief that childhood should feel warm, connected, creative, and unhurried. 🌿
